Tofu Scramble

When you want a cooked breakfast to satiate the crew, look no further than scrambling up some tofu with all the trimmings of course!

This is actually the best way to start your tofu-eating journey IMO!

A breakfast or brunch like this will keep you going for hours.

Tofu scramble is also the perfect meal to sneak some medicinal mushrooms into, a 1/4 tsp of Mason’s Mushrooms would be perfect.

EASY, AFFORDABLE, DELICIOUS…just the way we like it ’round here.


Ingredients:

1 block of tofu crumbled up using your clean fingers

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp black salt

Ground black pepper

1 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)

1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)


Method:

Sauté gently in a pan until heated through. At the same time, we cook our mushrooms and tomatoes on one side of the pan with a generous splash of coconut balsamic in the mix.

Serve with avocado, toast, Ceres Organic baked beans (the best), and the lovely mushies and toms.
