Meet your hosts

I’m Hannah!

 

I’m a skilled and knowledgeable wellness practitioner, former nurse, and current mother.

 

I'm a recovering food addict, emotional eater, boredom eater and over eater!

I've also experienced a lot of growth through life experiences - healing my health issues, overcoming parenting challenges, living with grief after the loss of my mother to cancer, divorce, solo parenting, conscious relationship, and overcoming low self worth, anxious attachment and people pleasing.

My main man Adam (Ted) had a big wake and shake up when he met me! (poor guy, ignorance is bliss as they say)

He was actually like most people out there, accepting of his constant tiredness & weekly bowel motion (yup!) as "normal" and using caffeine to prop himself up from over working + a trash diet (air fried everything from a packet)

 

He is on an epic journey and is still in the midst of overcoming food addiction and overeating.

Ted is big hearted, and jovial. A glass half full kinda guy.

 

He's an epic manifestor and his abundance mindset is more solid than mine!

 

When I'm stuck with the tech, Ted is my go-to guy. He is so smart it blows my mind!

 

I love my geek to bits. I know you will enjoy being in his presence too!

Ted will be our juice master on retreat! He already has a spreadsheet with juice combos and they look VERY enticing!

The Details

When:

4pm Friday 11th to 10am Monday 14th October 2024

Who:

For EVERYONE and ANYONE keen to reset & refresh after a long, cold winter! Limited to 10 spaces (9 left!).

 

Bring your partner, friend, brother, sister or adult child!
 

Where:

Hosted at the glorious semi rural Pear Orchard Lodge (I’ve stayed here on a retreat - just stunning!)

What:

There are 3 options for your cleanse!

 

1. Juice and other nourishing hot and cold liquids for 2 full days 

2. One full "raw day" (juice breakfast, smoothie lunch, build a bowl dinner) + one full juice day as per above

3. Raw food cleanse for the duration of the retreat (juice breakfast, smoothie lunch, build a bowl dinner - perfect for beginners)

You'll learn about the great lymphatic system, fasting and detoxification

  • Digestive discomfort or diarrhea

  • Emotional or psychological discomfort as the body detoxifies


Precautions and Recommendations

  • Hydration: It is crucial to stay hydrated throughout the retreat.

  • Medical Conditions: If you have any pre-existing medical conditions (including but not limited to heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, or low blood pressure), you must consult with Hannah and a healthcare provider before participating.

  • Medications: If you are on medications, please seek medical advice and discuss with Hannah, as fasting can affect the metabolism of certain drugs.

  • Rest: Adequate rest and relaxation are vital during the fasting period to prevent overexertion.


Who Should Not Participate in Juice Fasting

Fasting is not suitable for everyone. Please do not participate if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Have a history of eating disorders

  • Are severely underweight

  • Have Type 1 Diabetes

  • Are under 18 years of age


Your Responsibility

By participating in the retreat, you assume full responsibility for your own health and well-being during the juice fast. The information provided during the retreat is for educational and informational purposes only and should not be construed as medical advice.
